The PowerApps developer, will work across the Microsoft PowerApps Platform as a service suite to build custom businessapps that meet the needs of the JnJ HCC CTI organization.
Proven previous experiences in:
• Complex PowerApps applications & Bl design, development and maintenance of web-based applications usingthe Microsoft Power Platform.
• Database development in creating complex database queries, views, stored procedures and functions.
• Working through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) which includes gathering and analyzingbusiness requirements functional and technical specifications. designing, developing, testing, and deploying theapplications and providing production support.
• Documenting: End user work instructions / process documentation / software documentation.• Implementing projects under the agile/scrum software development methodologies.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Will be responsible for core development, analysis, and maintenance work across the Microsoft Power Platform as aservice suite, building custom business apps, re-writing, and re-engineering custom legacy applications toPowerApps solutions
2. Create & maintain multi-screen Power Apps with SharePoint lists and/or SQL Server as data source
3. Connect multiple SharePoint lists and/or SQL Server tables together as a data source for a single Power App
4. Work through Power Apps delegation limits for apps that have 5,000 or more records within SharePoint
5. Create & maintain Power Automate flows for:• Populating & manipulating SQL Server data• Populating & manipulating SharePoint data• Creating custom permissions for SharePoint lists• Sending custom HTML emails from group mailbox
6. Create & maintain SharePoint modern sites (including permissions)
7. Create & manage SharePoint lists (views, lookup fields, choice fields, etc.)
8. Strong written & verbal English communication skills, as this individual will meet directly with customers to gather anddocument business requirements.
9. Create technical architecture / reference documentation for SharePoint / Power Apps / Power Automate solutions.
10. Experience creating scalable applications that can be configured through SharePoint lists. Example:• 5 groups of users use the same form yet have different needs as to which fields are mandatory.• Rather than create 5 different forms, the application needs to use a back-end list / database table to configurewhich fields are mandatory for which group of users.• While this presents a little bit more work up-front while developing & architecting, it provides data-driven flexibilityfor the application and makes it more scalable / re-usable.
11. (Preferred) Power BI development & incorporation of Power BI reports/dashboards within SharePoint sites and/orPower Apps
12. (Preferred) Proficient in web based languages (JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML).
13. In most cases the responsibilities will include working with multiple teams, end users, IT analysts, and subject matter experts. Specific tasks description: All tasks are in support of the J&J Health Care Compliance Technology & Data Analyticsstrategy.• Partner with 2 people to maintain & enhance an existing Power Apps / Power Automate / SharePoint solution(called “RAMI”) that connects to an Azure SQL Server back-end.• Provide base business support for existing Power Platform solutions.• As needed, meet with customers to understand requirements for additional Power Platform solutions.• Document a suggested architecture for the Power Platform solution and develop the Power Platform solution asdocumented.• Additional tasks as defined by project team
